For USAID it has been a great honor supporting the “Art for Reconstruction” project from the Prolongar Foundation. The foundation was the only winner of the USAID Global Reconciliation Fund in 2018, this fund bolsters conflict mitigation and reconciliation programs and activities where they gather people in different areas of the conflict. These programs offer opportunities so that adversaries can address problems, reconcile differences, endorse a joint understanding and reliance, and work in common objectives like respect and recent or current potential conflicts.

This is why “Art for Reconstruction” is a good example of the intent of this fund, it is an honor to witness another achievement of this project, a multimedia website which is available in both english and spanish for everyone who wants to know more about the life stories of the participants, the results obtained and the recommendations to implement  reconciliation projects in Colombia and the rest of the world.
