Vista Hermosa - Meta
FRAGMENTOS Y HUELLAS
In 2016 Vista Hermosa (Meta) was the municipality that registered the highest number of civilian victims of antipersonnel mines in Colombia.
That year we were one of the 5 WINNING projects of the call “Scholarships for research and production of museogrpahic projects on historical memory and armed conflict” with the project “Fragments and footprints: rebuilding bodies and territories from a museographic proposal”.
Through the Kintsugi technique and the artistic and body methodology, we built the first itinerant museum of memory on the subject in Colombia with 20 survivors of attacks by anti-personnel mines of Vista Hermosa.

TESTIMONIES
“One faces challenges but has to overcome them through things and people. I thank everyone because they gave us the opportunity to be visible to the world and our country”

“This vessel is broken but it can be renewed again; What happens is that we have to seal and leave the past, but picking it up. To join the pieces seals the wounds, scars remain, but the wounds seal”
